Class Dojo
Each parent will be given login details to Class Dojo when they start at the school by the School Office. Class Dojo is the best way to communicate with your child's teacher and the School Office. We recommend each parent uses Class Dojo as it is a fun and useful tool. Teachers use Class Dojo to put pictures on of the children, which capture their learning and any fun activities they are taking part in. They also post useful information specific to their class and use it as a means of praise and rewards. There is also a whole school story where the weekly newsletter is posted and general reminders are posted about whole school events. If you have any problems logging into Class Dojo please contact your class teacher or the School Office, either at the beginning or the end of the day or by emailing admin@stgilesce.net.
Newsletter
Every week the school produces a newsletter for parents and carers. The newsletter will provide useful information about upcoming events and try to keep you informed about everyday things the Pupils of St Giles are participating in. There is also a list of children who have received the weekly Headteacher award.
Social Media
The school uses an open 'Twitter and Facebook' account. This means that you do not need to join either accounts to view the content. The school uses Facebook to provide you with the most up to date information.
School Reading Record
Every child will be provided with a Reading Record. Staff will check the Reading Records regularly so please record any reading or write any useful information about your child's learning here. If you happen to lose your Reading Record replacements can be purchased for £1.50 on ParentPay.
